The goal of the competition is to inspire students to explore, appreciate, and learn about global food cultures, acquire valuable lifetime culinary skills, encourage fun cooking with friends and family, and develop new ways to enjoy healthful flavor.

Families Together at Mathews
  • MATHEWS

For a few weeks, the first graders at Mathews have been reading and studying fairy tales. To top off all the work the kids have been doing, the teachers invited parents, and students from the high school theatre department to come over to perform scenes from some famous fairy tales. In addition to the short plays, the high schoolers also helped out with other fun activities that everyone enjoyed.

Construction Update: Apex Activity Center
  • NIXA HIGH

The Apex Activity Center on the high school campus, along with the classroom additions and new storm shelter at High Pointe, are moving along and are scheduled to be completed in the next few months. The weather has played a small factor in the progress, but crews continue to work hard as the summer months quickly approach. Thank you to Killian Construction, Nesbitt Construction, and all the designers and architects for your work on these projects.
