The Nixa Schools Police Department was established in November 2022 and thrives on developing relationships within our school community. Students Build Mini Golf Courses to Demonstrate Force and Motion ⛳️

The 3rd grade team at JTSD was ready to repeat their usual lesson on force and motion, but decided to freshen things up by having the students work in small groups, where they could design and build a miniature golf course. The teachers began the experience by taking the students to Getaway Golf in Springfield, where they observed the layout and design of each hole so they could recall it as they returned to school to create their own holes.

Aetos Singers Learn From Professional A Cappella Group Lyyra 🎡

The Aetos Singers had an amazing opportunity recently to spend time with and learn from the all-women vocal ensemble group Lyyra. After getting coaching lessons, they performed for the high school faculty and staff inside Aetos. They got the chance to work with Lyyra again as they performed a concert at a local church with the Queen City Chorale.
