⚾️ Third Graders Work on Adding to a Missouri State Symbol 🏈
  • MATHEWS

The 3rd-grade team at Mathews found out that the St. Louis Blues are recognized as the only official sports team in our state. That got the teachers thinking and wondering what about Missouri’s other professional sports teams, such as the Cardinals, Chiefs, and Royals. The students went to work researching, writing, and utilizing their art skills, and are now ready to present to our local legislators the reasons why the Chiefs and the other teams should be added to the list of Missouri state symbols.
